Jason - The Krispy Kreme Doughnut is probably the sweetest doughnut I have ever had. It did not over power the sandwich at all. That could be because the doughnut was rather small compared to the sandwich I created. The sweetness actually worked well with the bacon and eggs. Kind of creepy. The Krispy Kreme doughnut is a glazed yeast doughnut. Not sure how it would work with a cake doughnut. I think any glazed yeast doughnut would work.

OMG! One would say it is a heart attack waiting to happen. I would try it, I am not scared of the calories or the fat. The only concern I would have is WHAT kind of doughnut we use. If one uses one that is too sweet, then it would ruin everything.
