When I was a bartender I made T-shirts that said “Vodka Cranberry not Cranberry Vodka”. Everyone always ordered a Cranberry Vodka and then they gave me blank stares when I asked if they wanted a shot or what they wanted the cranberry vodka mixed with. Yep, they make cranberry vodka. We stocked two kinds of it. So here is a tip, order the spirit then order the mixer. I love cranberries and I also love vodka. So I did a little twist on the vodka cranberry and added a little lime juice and some sparkling water. Everything is a little better with some fizz.
The Vodka Cranberry Spritzer
Garnish with a lime and you are ready to go. Not the most manly drink, so I would suggest drinking it at home away from other people. Haha.
Vodka Cranberry Spritzer
- 2 oz Vodka
- 4 oz Cranberry Sweetened Juice Cocktail
- Juice of 1/4 lime
- 2 oz club soda or your favorite sparkling water
The Ingredients
In a shaker full of ice combine the vodka, cranberry juice and lime juice. Shake for 10 seconds.
Grab your favorite 8-10 oz glass and fill it with ice. Strain the shaker contents into the glass.
Top off the glass with club soda or your favorite sparkling water.
It is all about the fizz
Garnish with a lime wedge and enjoy.
