55 Knives Book

I was asked by Nick from Macheesmo to write one of the 55 chapters for the 55 knives e-book.  I was honored to be asked to write about bacon.  Also this is the first time that anyone has asked me to write for them and actually get paid.  As a full disclosure, I get a percentage of all sales generated from SavoryReviews.com.  As you guys know, bacon is dear to my heart and it can be a pretty expensive hobby.  So after a few ideas, I wrote a chapter about baking maple brown sugar bacon, a sure money maker.  Then using the baked maple brown sugar bacon, I made the Ultimate BLT.  It is as amazing as it sounds.

55 Knives is an almost 200 page book that is a compilation of stories, recipes and tips from 55 food bloggers from around the Internet! Each blogger gets a chapter and in that chapter they give a recipe (or a few) and a story to accompany the recipe(s). The idea being that if we all write a few pages then those pages will all be really exceptional. Also, because there are so many different perspectives, the recipes are varied and much more unique than if just one person were to write the entire thing.

55 Knives is an electronic book, which means that you can download it to your computer or Kindle or Nook, or your iPad.  I know that you are wondering why you would want a digital book.  Well there are hundreds of live links to all of the blogs, and you can search for ingredients or types of recipes that interest you. Print only the pages you need, when you need them, or print the whole book.  Plus you can bring your laptop, kindle, iPad, or netbook right to the Kitchen.  Further, the book is a clickable, searchable, environment-friendly cookbook. With photos. And no shipping charges or delivery dates. The book is yours, right away, wherever you are.

Order 55 Knives before June 1 at a discounted price of just $14.

Full disclosure, I get a commission on any books purchased through the link here at SavoryReviews. So, you know, if you want to help support me, this is your chance.
