I make a ton of homemade pizzas and I always make my own pizza sauce. The number one question that I get is, what pizza sauce recipe should I use? So the other day, I searched my website looking for it and I did not find it. To be honest, I thought that I had already wrote a pizza sauce post. I guess I was wrong. We recently got a new rice cooker. It is a zojirushi rice cooker and it is freaking awesome! and I wanted to expand our repertoire of rice dishes beyond just white long grain rice. So I decided to come up with a new recipe that would utilize the rice cooker but impart a ton of flavor. So I substituted the water for chicken broth and then added herbs and onions to enhance the flavors. This was some of the tastiest rice I have ever made.

I was craving tomato soup the other day. So I scoured the internet to find a suitable soup for dinner. After looking around I settled on a soup that was based on canned tomatoes. I know, but it is winter here and the fresh tomatoes, well they suck. This soup roasts the tomatoes to give them a little kick. You won’t even know they came from a can.
I served this retro style with some grilled cheese. Awesome!!
