I make a ton of homemade pizzas and I always make my own pizza sauce. The number one question that I get is, what pizza sauce recipe should I use? So the other day, I searched my website looking for it and I did not find it. To be honest, I thought that I had already wrote a pizza sauce post. I guess I was wrong. Here is my favorite pizza sauce recipe!
Ever since my BreakFast Fatty post, I have been getting bombarded with emails requesting more bacon recipes. So I took the bacon weave from the breakfast fatty, cooked it like my bacon crusted quiche and mixed it with America’s Favorite Dish, PIZZA! Yep, I took this pizza to the carbohydrate free extreme (ok a few carbs in the sauce, but come on, bacon crust pizza). I made the crust out of pure BACON!
I am a huge fan of pizza. Every once in a while I will go out and have a slice to see what toppings are popular. I stopped by a local pizzeria and had a spinach mushroom and goat cheese pizza. It was awesome and instantly knew I would have to recreate this for the blog.
This pizza is extremely popular at my house. The flavor combination is awesome!
When I was in college there was this pizzaria that delivered the beautiful cheese filled breadsticks. They were awesome. Basically a mix between a mozzarella stick and a breadstick. This recipe, however simple, took a couple of tries as I needed to get the right cheese. After having the right cheese, it took a while to determine the proper way to wrap the cheese so that it didn’t escape. Below are the perfect cheese filled breadsticks.
As you can see the cheese and bread come together in one amazing little package.
