The perfect side dish to any entree. This dish is quick, easy and delicious!

Servings: 6 servings
- 1 lb green beans washed and trimmed.
- 2 tbs butter
- 1 tbs vegetable oil
- 6 cloves garlic
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tbs toasted sesame seeds
- 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Once the water is at a boil add 1 pound of trimmed green beans to the pot. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 3-4 minutes.
Remove the green beans from the pot, and cover with ice water. This will stop the cooking. That way you will have nicely cooked green beans. Allow to chill until ready to use.
In a saute' pan add 2 tbs butter and 1 tbs vegetable oil over medium/high heat.
Once the butter has melted, add the garlic and cook until the garlic starts to brown (Roughly 2 mins).
Add the green beans, soy sauce and toasted sesame seeds. Cook until the soy sauce starts to reduce and thicken.
Season with freshly ground black pepper and serve.
