Ingredients
  • 1 pizza dough check links below for recipe
  • 1 - 1 1/2 cups pulled pork
  • 1/2 red onion
  • 1 small green pepper
  • 1 - 1 1/2 cups favorite bbq sauce
  • 2 cups colby jack cheese
Instructions
The Dough
  1. It all starts with the dough. Check out one of my dough recipes below. If you don't want to make your own dough, you can buy it from a pizzeria, the store or even use a store bought flat bread.
Prep the ingredients
  1. Finely slice 1/2 a red onion and 1 small green pepper.
  2. Pull and set aside 1- 1 1/2 cups of pulled pork.
Making the pizza
  1. Preheat your oven to 450 degrees.
  2. Dust a pizza peel or pizza pan with fine cornmeal. Then toss your pizza dough to a size that fits your pizza pan/pizza stone.
  3. Coat the pizza with your favorite pizza sauce. You want to use enough to coat the pizza, but you don't want it to pool.
  4. Then top with finely cut red onions, finely cut green peppers and the pulled pork. You want to add enough to have a bit in each bite, but you do not want to overload.
  5. Finally top the pizza with Colby Jack cheese.
  6. Bake in a standard oven at 450 degrees for roughly 15 minutes.
  7. Remove and slice.
