International Food and Wine Festival – Feb. 12-14

During this celebration and sensory extravaganza, you’ll savor every moment as you roam the Festival’s convivial indoor street-festival setting, sampling 600+ wines from 100 wineries around the world and international foods prepared to complement the wines.  From 2-6PM on Saturday and Sunday.

You‘ll also have a chance to pick up tips from wine experts, enjoy demonstrations by top chefs, attend seminars geared to connoisseurs and novices, and discover the latest accessories and gadgets  related to the wine industry.

I went two years ago and this was a lot of fun.  It is right off the metro (Federal Triangle) at the Ronald Regan Building.

Tickets are $95 for Saturday only, $85 for Sunday only and $160 for the whole weekend.

Cupids Undie Run – Feb. 13th

I like to showcase a benefit each week.  This one caught my attention as it includes cheap beer.  A 2-mile run around the Nations Capital to benefit the Childrens Tumor Foundation.

Registration starts at the Pourhouse, 319 Pennsylvania Ave, SE. at Noon on satuday.
