The perfect martini recipe! It doesn't get any easier or more delicious!
Course: Cocktail
Cuisine: Getting Sloshy
Servings: 1
Author: Rex
Ingredients
  • Ice
  • 2 Jiggers Great Gin 3 oz
  • cap full Dry Vermouth
Instructions
  1. The key to a great martini is having everything nice and cold. Keep your shaker, glasses and gin in the freezer. Why you ask, well everything tastes better ice cold. Plus you do not want to water down your martini too much. Thus, having everything cold, helps prevent unnecessary melting.
  2. Fill your shaker with ice. All the way to the top. Ice is your friend. Remember everything tastes better when ice cold.
  3. Pour in a cap full of vermouth. Using a spoon stir the ice and vermouth and let sit for 5 seconds. Then strain out the vermouth.
  4. Next add 2 jiggers of gin. We are talking good gin here folks.
  5. Stir the gin 20 times.
  6. Strain the martini into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a couple of olives and enjoy.
Recipe Notes

Do not make a cocktail out of gin in a plastic bottle. Please don't email me if you made this with gin in a plastic bottle and it tasted like crap. If you start with crappy gin, you will end up with a crappy martini.
